In a review written for The Swordsman's Shaft, famed gaming journalist Garrett Quincy describes fans' disappointment with the chapter's pacing, complaining that it "took too long to get to the action" & "didn't let the action last long enough". However, he also assures readers that recent leaks seem to prove the best is yet to come for the FORGEVIL franchise.
